Tecnológico de Monterrey, UG Minor Degree in Regenerative Design

Lead by: Mariana Covarrubias and Dr Carlos Cobreros

The LOVE challenge took place in the ejido community of El Madroño, in Pinal de Amoles, within the Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve, Querétaro, Mexico. 12 students from the Regenerative Design Concentration, in the sixth semester, at the School of Architecture, Art and Design (EAAD) of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, as part of the EAAD’s flagship national project, ‘Ecosystem of Regenerative Living Labs’.

What resonated most with the challenge was the depth of the regenerative understanding of the place, and how people opened up in a different way when I approached it through the lens of LOVE.
